Happy Valentine’s Day! I cannot believe how expensive greeting cards are these days! Those expensive cards these days are all about “texture” so my light bulb went off in my head – DIY! If you are a creative & thrifty person like me, you should make your own Greeting Card! Here is how:
What you will need:
- Craft Glue
- Red Stock Paper
- Scrap fabrics
1. Cut scrap fabric of your choice into a heart shape. (Easy way is to fold the corner and make triangle, then cut round on the top) Make several of them with different pattern of fabrics.
2. Fold a red stock paper in half and glue fabric hearts on top.
3. Hold white copy paper with your message in half and slide inside a Card.
4. Tie two papers together with ribbon, make a bow on top and done!
With your imagination, you can use all kinds of material such as spangles, cork, dried leaf etc. Why spend $6-7 for a Greeting Card? Make your own card and impress your love!!
